• Be specific. Job descriptions list specific skills of the ideal candidate. Take this approach when writing your description by thinking about what you would say if you wanted the “perfect” person to respond to the description. While you will not actually be looking for respondents, approaching it this way clarifies in your own mind what you expect the care provider to do for your parents on a daily basis. This should specify the actual care activities that you want performed for your loved ones, and how you would like them fulfilled.
