FAQ’S

1. Are children able to be tested?

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a consenting adult. (Infants under the of 2 will not be tested)

2. If I am not feeling well, can I be tested?

Rapid tests should not be performed on individuals exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 you are to self-isolate and follow public health guidance.

3. What happens if I test positive?

Positive Rapid Test results are considered preliminary, and a confirmatory PCR test is recommended with 24 hours. Individuals are to self-isolate and follow public health guidance until the result of the lab-based PCR test is known.

4. Do I need to get tested if I am vaccinated?

Vaccinated individuals (regardless of whether they received one or two doses) should not be excluded from rapid antigen screening initiatives, as it is unknown at this time if they can still transmit COVID-19, despite being vaccinated.

5. What safety protocols should I follow at the event?

It is recommended to always follow Health Canada guidelines such as wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

Learn more about how we can help you celebrate… safely!

We are certified to administer COVID testing. All staff are trained under the supervision of our Director of Healthcare. Our technicians are fully insured with medical malpractice and liability coverage. Patrons under 18 years of age require the consent of a guardian prior to testing.

*Important: Health Canada has determined that a Negative test result should be treated as “presumptive” or probable. A negative test result does not completely rule out being infected with COVID-19. If you test negative for COVID-19, this means the virus was not detected at the time of your specimen collection and that you could test positive later. If you feel that your negative test result is inconsistent with your symptoms, you should seek alternative testing and contact your healthcare provider for additional guidance.
